The Galaxy S22 series is expected to be released in February, and Samsung has now confirmed this date while also hinting at what to anticipate from the 2022 flagship family.
In a post on Samsung’s website, mobile executive TM Roh recognized the lack of a Galaxy Note phone in 2021, saying that users loved the line’s productivity/creativity focus and the S Pen experience.
“At Unpacked in February 2022, we’ll introduce you to the most noteworthy S series device we’ve ever created,” Roh explained. In case there was any doubt that this was a reference to the Galaxy Note family, an emailed press release to Android Authority says that it will be the “most Note-worthy” S series phone yet.
Roh further claimed that the device will offer the “best and brightest” photos and videos at night, signing off by saying people should get ready for the “ultimate Ultra experience.” The company also uploaded a teaser video for the new phones, seen at the top of this page.
There is no precise launch date at this time, although multiple rumors point to February 8th.
