Rumours of the Samsung Foldable device have been going on for months. There have been speculations that the device will be unveiled during the Samsung Unpacked event. Well, it is still amazing that despite all the online rumours surrounding the Galaxy S10, the company still opened their unpacked event with the Samsung Galaxy Fold. The device has been confirmed to be real. It will be a portable device that will add the portability of the phone and the utility of tablet together. It looks amazing and we will be expecting the device in the next two months.
The device will come with a 4.6 – inches external screen and another 7.3 – inches foldable screen on the inside. The opening and closing of the phone were made simple with a hinge which houses interlocking gears. And that will also improve the durability of the smartphone. The hinge might be a custom colour which will allow for some personalization.

Even though the phone is foldable, there is also an app continuity feature. It will allow you to continue with whatever thing you are doing on the smaller screen onto the bigger screen when the phone unfold. Samsung worked with Google and Android developers to perfect this feature.
With the larger screen, you can do three things at a time – WhatsApp, YouTube and Microsoft at the same time. This phone came with the feature out of the box. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and it comes with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage (fast UFS 3.0 storage to boot). The Samsung Galaxy Fold came with two batteries with a combined capacity of 4,380mAh.
Talking about the camera, the phone features 6 cameras – 3 on the back, 2 on the inside and 1 on the front. It means that whether the phone is folded or unfolded, there is always an available camera that you can use to snap a photo.
Lastly, the amazing thing is that the above spec is real. The device is real and not a prototype for a future device. The device will be available starting from April 26. Also, the device will come with LTE and 5G versions. The phone is costly with a starting price of $1,980.
