Samsung Galaxy S10e is the smallest and less spec’d albeit powerful one out of the trio of the just announced Samsung Galaxy S line up. The Samsung Galaxy S10e borrows a lot of specs from its big brothers like the Snapdragon or Exynos 9820 on board, depending on your region, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, 15W of both wired and wireless fast charging and a USB Type-C port. However, some corners were cut to bring the price down, the same thing Apple did with the iPhone XR.

Samsung Galaxy S10e has a smaller 5.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 1080p+ display which still has HDR10+ with a pixel per inch density of 438. It uses 19:9 aspect ratio with an impressive screen to body ratio of 83%. The display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 which also protects the back. An aluminium frame goes all the way around it.
There is also a fingerprint sensor at the side – no ultrasonic in-display sensor here. It has a single punch-hole camera at the front and dual cameras at the back with an LED flash. This device weighs just 150 grams and measures 7.9mm in thickness. Colour options available for the Samsung Galaxy S10e are Prism White, Prism Black, Prism Green, Prism Blue, Canary Yellow and Flamingo Pink.

Samsung Galaxy S10e has just 3 cameras, two of which are located at the rear. The rear camera is made up a 12MP wide camera with an f/1.5-f2.4 aperture, dual Pixel PDAF and OIS alongside a 16MP ultrawide camera with am f/2.2 aperture. The rear camera is equipped with an LED flash, auto HDR and Panorama. It can also shoot 4k, 1080p and 720p videos at 60, 240 and 960fps respectively. As for the selfie camera, it has a 10MP wide camera with dual Pixel PDAF, auto HDR and can shoot 4k and 1080p videos at 30fps. Both the rear and front-facing camera have dual video recording.

The Samsung Galaxy S10e like the other Samsung Galaxy devices have two versions available here depending on the market/region. One has a Snapdragon 855 SoC on board which is a 7nm based chipset with an octa-core processor clocked at 2.8GHz with an Adreno 640 GPU, while The other has a Samsung Exynos 9820 SoC; an 8nm based chipset with an octa-core processor clocked at 2.7GHz, paired with a Mali-G76 MP12 GPU. Samsung Galaxy S10e comes with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM with 128GB and 256GB of internal storage respectively. The dual SIM variant gives you the option to swap out a second SIM for a microSD card, up to 512GB. It runs Samsung’s One UI out of the box which based on Android 9.0 Pie
