Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+ Specs In Details
The Galaxy S22 has a 6.1-inch Full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, while the S22+ has a larger 6.6-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. The design of the new S22 and S22+ is similar to that of the predecessor S21. Particularly in the rear, with the same camera style.
Both devices have Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phones are constructed with an Armor Aluminum frame. The S22 has a brightness of 1300 nits, while the S22+ has a brightness of 1750 nits.
On the camera department, both smartphones feature a triple camera setup on the back. Samsung updated the predecessor’s 64MP primary lens with the new 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor this time around. The primary lens produces photos with a pixel binned resolution of 12.5MP.
A 12MP ultra-wide lens with a focal length of 13mm is also included. Finally, there’s a 10MP telephoto sensor with 30x optical zoom and 3x space zoom. Both include a 10-megapixel front-facing camera.
Additionally, the Galaxy S22 Ultra and the Galaxy S22 Ultra get the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200 SoC (depending on region).
The Galaxy S22 comes with a 3,700mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging, while the Galaxy S22+ has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 will cost you $799, while the Galaxy S22+ costs $999. Both are available in two different configurations: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Phantom Black, Phantom White, Phantom Green, and Pink Gold are the four colors available for the phones.
