If you have been following the Samsung Tab updates, you will know that the best way to describe the new Samsung Galaxy S5e is – “10.5 – inch super AMOLED screen, 5.5mm thickness, $400. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1(2019) with 1080p LCD is also another tab that you can check.
Let’s take a look at the specification of the two Tabs.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e
You might think that this is a flagship device because of the “e” attached to it. Well, looking at the price of the device, you will see that it is not a flagship device like the Tab S4 10.5 of last year.
But even at that, the device is still a top-notch smartphone that is portable. It comes with a razor-thin 5.5mm metal body (compared to the 7.1mm in Tabb S4 10.4) and weighs 400g. Also, if you want to get a laptop – like experience when using the phone, there is also a cover keyboard (optional) which you can use.
The Galaxy S5e which comes with a 10.5 – inch screen also comes with a 2,560 x 1,600-pixel resolution with 16:10 aspect ratio. And the pixel density is slightly higher than the iPad Pro 11 – although there is no stylus.
The device came with the Snapdragon 670 chipset. It comes with 4/6GB RAM and 64/128GB storage which can be increased to 512GB with the use of a microSD card. It came with 7,040mAh battery capacity which can stay standby for 14 hours of watching videos. The device came with a USB – C port with support for fast charging (there is no 3.5mm jack). And the phone comes with Android 9 Pie out of the box.
The device also came with a 13MP rear camera and 8MP selfie camera and it features face recognition and fingerprint scanner. The pre-order date for the Galaxy Tab S5e will start from March 14 at $400/€420. And the shipment of the Tab will start by April 4. The LTE version will be available for €480 in Europe. But the US price is yet to be unveiled but it might come with a price tag of $460. There is a free AKG Y500 headphone for those that will pre-order the device.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019)
With a price tag of €200, the device is a budget-friendly phone. It switches to a 10.1 – inch LCD with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixel and it comes with two Dolby Atmos speakers. It comes with a 7.5mm thickness with the body being metal.
The Samsung Tab A 10.1(2019) will come with the Exynos 7904 chipset – the same chip with the upcoming Galaxy A30. It comes with just 2GB RAM and 32GB storage which can still be extended with a microSD card. It comes with 6,150mAh battery capacity with USB – C port. The device will come with LTE variant which will be sold for €270.
