There are only a few companies that make Android tablets and Samsung Mobile is leading the pack. The company just released its new generation of tablets – Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+
The larger one of the duo comes with a 12.4″ AMOLED display and features 2,800 x 1752 pixels resolution and 420 nits brightness. Underneath the display is a fingerprint scanner for biometric security. The tablet features the upgraded S-pen from the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra which reduces latency to 9ms.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 865+ chipset and paired with 6/128GB or 8/256GB memory. The 10,090 mAh battery capacity guarantees up to 16 hours of video watching. When the power is low, it relies on a 45W fast charging technology.
The back module consists of a 13MP main lens and 5MP ultrawide lens. At the front is an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7
The vanilla model comes with a reduced 11″ screen and features LTPS TFT panel as opposed to AMOLED. It is slightly brighter though – 500nits while also supporting the same 120Hz refresh rate.
The battery capacity also got trimmed – 7,040 mAh. According to the company, it guarantees up to 15 hours of video watching, which is just an hour less from the plus model. Every other key spec remains the same.
Shipping for both Galaxy Tablets will begin August 21 in selected markets. The Galaxy Tab S7 has the following price list: €700 (6/128GB Wi-Fi), €780 (8/256GB Wi-Fi), €800 (6/128GB LTE), and €880 (8/256GB LTE). While the Galaxy Tab S7+ retails for €900 (6/128GB Wi-Fi), €980 (8/256GB Wi-Fi), €1,100 (6/128GB 5G), and €1,180 (8/256GB 5G).
