Sharp Aquos C10 was silently introduced by Sharp as an Aquos S2 with a totally different specs configuration. The device was seen in one of Sharp’s store in Germany with all the details and specs unveiled for the world to see.
It houses the Snapdragon 630 chip from Qualcomm with a performance efficient octa-core processor. There’s 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space as well. Furthermore, it sports dual rear cameras.

Sharp Aquos C10 Design and Display
The device looks like Sharp’s flagship smartphones with its Aluminum alloy overall unibody and frame. There’s a Corning Gorilla Glass at that back as well, this helps the device to reflect light beautifully.
The only visible features at the rear are the dual cameras sitting vertically at the top left corner with the dual-LED flash underneath. It measures 7.9mm in thickness and weighs 140g overall. It was launched in the only Black.
Sharp is known for its IGZO display and the selfie notch, a feature that is almost rampant in the S flagship series from Sharp. Although the bottom bezel is very thick and houses a physical home button which doubles as a fingerprint scanner.
Movies displays from the 5.5-inch FHD+ IGZO capacitive touchscreen. The screen has 2040 x 1080 pixels in resolution and 420 pixels per inch density for your viewing pleasure. It stretches up to 77% screen to body ratio with a Corning Gorilla Glass on top.
Performance and Camera
The Snapdragon 630 chip from Qualcomm does the job underneath, it was manufactured with 14nm FinFET process technology. There’s an octa-core processor clocking at 2.2GHz as well, while in the graphics department, the Adreno 508 takes charge.
Multitask through all your heavy apps with the 4GB of RAM, this reaches a memory speed of 1333MHz. In the storage segment, you get 64GB and a slot to upgrade up to 256GB. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box as well.
The device comes loaded with a 12MP + 8MP dual rear shooters. One of the cameras is a Sony IMX362 Exmor RS Sensor which has f/1.75 aperture 1.4um Pixel Size, 1/2.55″ inch Sensor Size, PDAF and 6P Lens while the one underneath acts as a depth sensor. The 8MP selfie camera has f/2.0 aperture and 5P Len has its own notch with support for Face ID.

The Aquos C10 supports 4G LTE connectivity and accommodates dual Nano SIMs. It also has support for Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm jack, USB port, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot and A-GPS, GLONASS.
The Sharp Aquos C10 is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 2700mAh battery with fast charging technology. Sharp Aquos C10 will be available on shopping stores, starting from $449 to $499, that’s about (N160,000 – N180,000).
