Sharp R1S is a mid-range phone that has a lot to offer. It has 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage and 5000mAh battery.
More so, the dual rear camera and a finely cut unibody demake make it one to die for. The company initially announced it on the 6th of February, and as expected, many want to know if the phone is worth the price.

Design
The device is made of metal and thus interesting to look at. This is in addition to the dual rear camera and dual antenna lines that bring out its striking beauty.
It also has the dual rear shooters in a dual-LED flash. With an intimidating battery weight of more than 200g, the device is not portable to carry.
The humungous battery size means it is not slim, something that you can easily slot into a little space. However, that means the battery can last long and the device is available in only Black and Gold colours.
Display
Sharp R1S is one of the devices that has many bezels. They were trimmed down but you could still see them. The home button at the bottom bezel also works as the fingerprint scanner. And the top bezel is where the selfie camera, speaker grille and sensor are located.
For the screen, the R1S has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD Capacitive touchscreen. It also comes with 1280×720 pixels in resolution and 267 pixels per inch density.
Also, it can power multi-touch with a 16:9 aspect ratio, just as the 2.5D Curved Glass on the screen is scratch resistant.
Hardware and Software
The phone runs on the MediaTek MT6750 chip with octa-core processor standing at 1.3 GHz. There is also a 28nm process technology, 64-bit CPU architecture and an ARM Mali-T860 MP2 graphics processing unit.
And for the graphics processor, the device has 2-cores and gets to a maximum speed of 520 MHz.
You can be sure of ease in multitasking as the device has a 3GB RAM space and a memory speed of 640MHz. It has 32GB of internal storage which can take a whole lump of files and games.
And if there is a need for more space, there is an option to upgrade up to 64GB via a memory card in the SIM 2 slot. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with a customized user interface.
Camera
Coming with the dual rear shooters, the device is ideal for photography lovers. It has 4K resolution images while the 13MP + 5MP dual rear shooters with f/2.0 aperture work well to take photos with 4160 x 3120 pixels in dimension.
Interestingly, with a dual-LED flash and other quality features like autofocus, touch focus, Continuous Shooting, the Sharp R1S is undoubtedly one to beat.
Similarly, it can record videos of 1080pixels at 30 frames per second and take selfies with 5MP selfie camera. This is just as the selfie camera has a f/2.4 aperture but with no front flash.
Battery
The Sharp R1S is a 5000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery powered device but has no fast charging technology support.
This means it can take up to 3 hours to charge from 0% to 100%.
