Sony released their midrange smartphones, the Xperia R1 and R1 Plus. The R1 Plus is more expensive than the R1, offering 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, twice the storage on the Xperia R1. The Sony Xperia R1 Plus is not bigger in terms of screen, it has the same exterior features with the R1.
According to Sony, The R1 series was specifically designed for the Indian market, so that an average Indian, could own a Xperia device.
