TCL made blackberry Mercury is already in the works and TCL is readying to launch its first Blackberry device at the WMC 2017.
We have earlier on written about the partnership between TCL and blackberry which will see TCL becoming the device manufacturers for Blackberry. Blackberry has been struggling to keep pace with the likes of Samsung, Huawei and Xiaomi hence a re-positioning is necessary.

In furtherance of the partnership between the two companies, TCL has revealed its plans for Blackberry for the year 2017. The company said that the first device that will be launched under the blackberry brand name will be code-named Blackberry Mercury.
The TCL made blackberry Mercury will feature physical keyboard which blackberry are known for and it will run on the android operating. The design of the TCL Made blackberry Mercury bears close resemblance with the popular Blackberry priv but once special feature that will stand out the device from all Blackberry previous devices is the space bar key that also serves as the fingerprint scanner.

What are the specs of the TCL Made Blackberry Mercury?
As of the time of writing this article, the official specifications of the device has not been revealed yet but rumors suggest, the device (Project Mercury) will pack a 4.63-inch display, along with a 1620×1080 resolution and a pixel density of 420ppi. It will also sport a Snapdragon 625, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a fingerprint sensor integrated into the space bar, an 18-megapixel camera on the back and an 8-megapixel camera on the front.

How much will the TCL Blackberry device cost?
Since the device hasn’t been officially announced, nothing yet has been said about the pricing for the blackberry Mercury but we believe that Blackberry and TCL should be lenient on the pricing for the device.
