The Camon 15 Premier features 64MP main camera, 2MP telephoto camera, 5MP wide-angle camera, a QVGA low light camera by TAIVOS [ TECNO artificial intelligence vision optimization solution ] and a 32MP pop-up selfie shooter.
On the inside, it is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 which is an octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU running up to a speedy 680MHz.
You a huge 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage which can be expanded to 256GB via an SDcard.

The Camon 15 Premier comes in a neatly packed box containing the phone’s name and some key specs.
This is how the smartphone looks once you take it out of the box. The device’s key specs are printed on the paper covering its display. As you can see, the key specs are the 64MP Ultra Quad camera, Ultra night lens powered by DSP, 32MP pop-up camera, 6.6″ perfect full-view display and 6GB RAM with 128GB ROM.
The front side of the phone’s box comes with a sketch drawing of the Tecno Camon 15 Premier. At the top side is the Tecno seal, ensure that your phone is sealed at the time of purchase.
The Design
The Camon 15 Premier comes in two beautiful colour of Ice Jadeite and Opal White. From our little time with the device, we can tell it is made from plastic at the back and is solidly built with the camera bump housing the four rear cameras and the Pop-up mechanism as the major side attractions
Now we have the main highlight of the Tecno Camon 15 Premier – the Sony’s 64MP Ultra Quad Camera. This is a first for Tecno Mobile and I can guarantee you it is far better than what you’re used to on any Tecno’s smartphone. Sony has one of the best camera technology in the industry. This Sony’s camera module features a 64MP main lens with AI scene detection, a 5MP wide-angle lens with 115° FoV, a 2MP macro lens, a QVGA lens and a dual-LED flash.
There is a fingerprint reader on the right-hand side of the camera module. The reader is for biometric security alongside the face unlock 2.0 software.
When it comes to the physical placement of buttons, the right-hand side of the Camon 15 Premier houses the up and down volume buttons. Underneath it, is the power button.
At the left-hand side, you will find the SIM tray which features a Dual SIM (Nano-SIM) slot and microSD slot (for additional storage of up to 512GB).
The bottom side of the smartphone features the usuals. From left to right, we have the 3.5mm audio jack, mic, microUSB 2.0 and speaker.
This is everything you’ll find inside the box. From left to right, we have the Tecno Camon 15 Premier, the USB cable, an earpiece, a warranty paper, and the standard charger.
Display
The display measures 6.6-inch in size and features curved edges. The bottom chin is quiet visible but still not bad. The phone runs on XOS 6.0 user interface which is customized on top of Android 10 operating system.
Enjoy a top view of the pop-up selfie camera, which ensured that the device comes with a perfect and full-view display.
This 32MP camera only pops up when you switch to the front camera. Once the app is switched to the rear camera or closed, the pop-up mechanism immediately goes back inside. Also, it is interesting to see that the Pop-up camera retracts immediately it senses an accidental fall, which is good.
