Phone dope shaa
It is commendable to read about Tecno keeping pace with other phone manufacturing giants. One thing I don’t understand is the insinuations that tecno phones no matter how sofisticated they may be, don’t work in Europe and America. Secondly, companies like Uber and Taxify don’t recommend them for their drivers. The reason is that the technology deployed by these tech Companies are too heavy for tecno to carry, especially in the areas of quick map reading and accurate fare billings among others. If these allegations are true, what are the factors behind them? Are these measures to produce cheap phones?
I think it is purely Uber’s problem, Uber is using Google Map for location reading and there nothing like heavy technology in that. Even the so-called low Android devices with 2GB or less can run Google Map efficiently. In fact, many Uber drivers in Nigeria use TECNO made devices for this purpose so I don’t know the angle you are coming from.
