Tecno F1 Key Specs and Features
- 5-inch FWVGA IPS capacitive touchscreen, 854 x 480 pixels
- Android 8.0 Oreo Go with 512MB RAM
- Quad-core 1.3GHz MediaTek Processor
- 8GB built-in storage and memory card support up to 32GB
- 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera
- 2000mAh removable Li-Ion Battery
DESIGN
It Sports a removable and colourful Plastic cover that lacks specific features. It’s obvious it has no fingerprint scanner just by looking at the body. The rear camera and LED flash are placed in the same position just like the Camon X and X Pro.
It comes in four beautiful colours to suit your style and personality. There’s Champagne Gold, Ice Blue, Dark Blue and Elegant Black. The affordable smartphone measures 9.7mm in thickness, enabling a perfect grip for users.
DISPLAY
From the front, it looks like most TECNO budget smartphones. Coming with the usual top and bottom bezel, while the narrow bezel is almost non-existent. Typical of what we see in their W budget series.
The top bezel houses the speaker grille, selfie camera and front LED flash, while the bottom has navigation buttons. The 5-inch FWVGA IPS capacitive touchscreen should display your games and movies pretty nicely with 854 x 480 pixels in resolution.
HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE
The TECNO F1 is built for speed according to the company, housing a MediaTek chip with a 4-core processor and 32-bit CPU architecture. The Quad-core processor reaches a speed of 1.3GHz with 28nm process technology for a smooth ride.
Multitasking light apps with its 512MB of RAM space, which shouldn’t be a problem since it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo Go Edition out of the box. The operating system comes with pre-installed with highly optimized apps like Facebook Lite and YouTube Go. While for storage, there’s 8GB space which is upgradeable up to 32GB.
TECNO F1 CAMERA
The 5MP rear camera comes with a dual-LED flash for night photographs. The AF camera has lots of features to take quality photos in low light areas. The 2MP selfie camera comes with a naturally soft LED flash as well for natural selfies even in low light environments.
BATTERY
The TECNO F1 is powered by a removable Li-Ion 2000mAh battery with fast no charging technology.
TECNO F1 PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
Tecno F1 is not yet available in Shopping stores but should retail between $49 to $59, that’s about (N15,000 – N20,000).

I have someone using this and she said the battery is super strong and the phone is working nice
Android Oreo (Go edition) starts from 8.1 not 8.0. Also there’s no Facebook Go, it is Facebook Lite. Only the lightweight Google apps are termed as Go. Please fix them in the article.
A nice budget device…
Tecno is crazy. ..who needs a poor ram and mega pixel phone and a poor 2000mah ba3.
LOL, A lot of people still buys this type of phone honestly, People buying a phone for the first time can afford those high specs devices, hence the reason for this type of phone that cost around $50
