TECNO Pop 2 Pro Full Specs and Price

Tecno Pop 2 Pro has officially arrived as another version of the Tecno Pop 2 (and i guess the Tecno Pop 2 Power too). Tecno Pop 2 Pro takes a lot from its predecessor as it has a lot of its features with some minor changes here and there. Lets take a look at what’s new on the Tecno Pop 2 Pro.

Tecno Pop 2 Pro Design And Display

Tecno Pop 2 Pro has the same design as the Tecno Pop 2 and Pop 2 Power. Tecno Pop 2 pro utilises plastic and on the back are the necessities which include a fingerprint sensor at the centre and the rear facing camera with an LED flash at the top left corner.

The front facing camera also has an LED flash which is both located at the top of the 5.5-inch 480p display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, also know as Fullview display. There is also a significant amount of chin down below. As usual, the volume buttons and power button are at the side.

Tecno Pop 2 Pro Camera Review

At the rear is a single 8MP camera with f/2.2 aperture accompanied with an LED flash for low light photography. 720p videos can be recorded at a maximum of 30fps per second. There is also HDR and AutoFocus. We also have the same setup at the front which is an 8MP front facing camera with an LED flash.

Tecno Pop 2 Pro Hardware and Software

At the centre of this device is a MediaTek MT6580 Chipset which has 4 cores clocked at 1.3GHz and Mali-400MP2 GPU. 1GB RAM takes care of running apps while the 16GB of Internal storage takes care of files. Of course, storage space is expandable up to 64GB via a MicroSD card. Tecno Pop 2 Pro runs Tecno’s own HiOS skin which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition.

Battery & Network Connectivity

A 3,050mAh powers this device with no word on fast charging. However, at this price point, fast charging is not to be expected. Other features like Bluetooth, Fingerprint Sensor, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, GPS and a microUSB port are all on board. However, there is no 4G LTE Connectivity.
