Tecno POP 4 is the latest entry-level smartphone from Tecno Mobile. The affordable phone is the direct successor of the POP 3 device. A pro version of the Tecno POP 4 is reportedly on the way. While we wait for its debut, we’ll be looking at the specs, features and price of the Tecno POP 4.

Design and Display
The Tecno POP 4 comes in a front glass with plastic unibody build. The back has a gradient pattern finish to it and comes in Midnight Black, Vacation Blue, and Light Orange body colour options. In terms of dimensions, the Tecno device measures 160 x 77.25 x 9.3 mm. For biometric security, the phone features a fingerprint reader at the back.
The smartphone is built around a 6.0″ waterdrop notch IPS LCD display which features 720 x 1440 pixels resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio.
Hardware and Software
Inside the Tecno phone is a MediaTek Helio A22 SoC with Quad-Core processor clocking at 1.3GHz. Handling the graphics is the PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The chip is married with a 2GB RAM size and 32GB storage space. There is a dedicated microSD slot that can take up to 128GB storage. In charge of the device’s software is the Go edition version of Android 10 operating system with Tecno’s HiOS custom skin on top.
Camera
The Tecno POP 4 sports a 5MP rear camera with HDR and panorama. For the selfies, there is an 8MP camera. In today’s world, we often tend to take a lot of selfies as oppose to regular photos, which could be why Tecno Mobile used the better camera at the front.
Battery
Powering the Tecno POP 4 is a non-removable Li-Po 5,000 mAh battery capacity. There is no mention of fast charging support.
