The second camera at the rear of the Spark 2 Pro is a telephoto sensor which will help you with portrait shoots. There’s 2GB of RAM here as well with 16GB storage and 3500mAh battery. For security, it sports a rear fingerprint scanner and supports Face ID.

DESIGN

When it comes to design, the Spark 2 Pro looks exactly like its little sibling. It has a Plastic back and a Metal frame, both of which was built to make the device very slim and sleek. Of course, we couldn’t help but notice the additional rear camera, making it two cameras at the back.

If you’re not into Face IDs, then the fingerprint scanner is at its usual position for fast and quick access. The device measures 7.8mm in thickness and will also feel very light as well. It’ll be available in Black and Gold colours.

DISPLAY

Just like the Spark 2, it comes with the same full view display with extremely tiny narrow bezels. This will offer taller display in landscape mode when you compare to the first Spark smartphone, this is quite an improvement. For a budget device, you get enough screen than bezels.

The massive 6-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is simply stunning, the details are pretty simple. The screen boasts of 720 x 1440 pixels in resolution and 268 pixels per inch density, making the details on the screen clear enough, with a 2.5D curved glass on top.

HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE

The Spark 2 Pro derives its features from a MediaTek MT6739 chip with 4-core of processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The Quad-core processor on this device clocks at the normal speed of 1.3GHz. In the graphics department, the IMG PowerVR GE8100 graphics card takes charge.

For multitasking, the RAM space has been expanded further up to 2GB, this will let you multitask through more apps. Although the storage space still stands at 16GB you can always upgrade up to 128GB using a memory card. The TECNO Spark 2 Pro runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with HiOS 3.3.

CAMERA

TECNO added an extra 2MP shooter at the back, this will help the 13MP take portrait shots and also detect scenes as well. There’s a dual-LED flash underneath the camera to help out in dark places as well. While the selfie camera is still an 8MP shooter with its own LED flash.

BATTERY

The TECNO Spark 2 Pro is powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 3500mAh battery with no fast charging technology.
