The TECNO Spark 4 is wrapped in an attractive box which features a picture of its front side. The box is coloured orange which is arguably one of the best we have seen from a TECNO smartphone.
Opening the box, we are greeted with the Spark 4 device, which looks exactly like the pictured one on the box. The difference here is that the sticker on the main phone has more specs features. The sticker on the “pictured” Spark 4 only has the ” Spark 4″ logo.
We can clearly see the phone’s sticker features when zoomed in. We have the 2GB/32GB label at the near top right and the 4G LTE at the middle. Close to the bottom, we have the phone’s key features; “13MP Triple AI Camera”, “AI Bright Camera”, “6.52-inch Dot Notch screen” and “4000 mAh big battery”.
We removed the sticker and powered on the smartphone. It comes with the regular pre-installed Google apps, a phoenix browser, HiOS apps (Quick Accelerate and Weather). If you look closely, you’ll see the Face Unlock app at the middle of the second row.
So yes, the Spark 4 supports Face Unlock. The device also comes with “Palmstore” pre-installed. This is an online store that sells over 5,000 apps and games.
At the front top of the Spark 4 is a waterdrop notch, which TECNO calls Dot-in. Closely above the notch is the earpiece speaker.
The bottom features a 3.5mm headphone jack, a single speaker, a noise cancellation mic and a USB 2.0 port.
Flip the phone to the back and you have the triple camera aligned in a vertical position. The LED flash is also featured in the camera module. At the middle is the fingerprint reader.
The right-hand side of the device features the volume up and down button. And below it is the power button.
There is a transparent case which features the Spark brand name boldly on it. This will prevent the device from scratches when accidentally dropped.
This is the blue colour variant. The body build is plastic with round edges. It has a gradient-like finish which shows two mixture of blue. It’s lovely!
On the left-hand side is the SIM tray with microSD slot.
This is everything inside the box of the TECNO Spark 4. We have the phone itself, transparent case, regular charger, the 12+1 month’s warranty tag, user guide, SIM ejector pin and earpiece.
The Spark 4 is available in Nigeria across the various TECNO Exclusive Stores and other retail outlets. The phone can also be purchased in TECNO exclusive stores. The price tag is N34,500.
