Tecno Mobile has launched the newest member of the Spark series. The new Spark 6 Air is a budget device with considerably good specs and features. The Spark 6 series is the successor of the Spark 5 series which was released earlier this year. Without further ado, let’s see what the new Tecno Spark 6 Air has in store for us today.

Design and Display

This Spark 6 Air has a ‘normal’ body build design. The back has a gradient pattern finish while at the front is a large display with a waterdrop notch and bottom chin. The Tecno phone measures 174.68 x 79.36 x 9.3 mm in dimensions. It comes in two body colour options – Ocean Blue and Comet Black. The back of the device features a dual AI camera and a fingerprint reader which takes just 0.15 seconds to unlock the device. The Tecno Spark 6 Air comes with IPX4 protection for water and sweat.

The Tecno phone offers 7-inch waterdrop notch display with 720 x 1640 pixels resolution and 90% screen-to-body ratio. The big screen will ensure a great and immersive visual experience especially when watching a movie.

Hardware and Software

Powering the device is the MediaTek Helio A22 SoC which is paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. The chipset features a Quad-Core processor with a clock speed of 2.0GHz. There is a microSD slot available for additional storage, though the storage capacity is unspecified. Running inside the Tecno Spark 6 Air is the Android 10 OS with HiOS 6.2 custom skin.

Camera and Battery Life

The AI-powered triple camera module at the back details a 13MP f/1.8 aperture sensor with auto-focus and a 2MP depth sensor. The system features Bokeh mode, auto scene detection, AI HDR mode and AI beauty mode. For selfies, the device has an 8MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

The Tecno Spark 6 Air packs a non-removable 6,000 mAh battery capacity that can last up to 14 hours when gaming. There is no mention of fast charging support.

The Tecno Spark 6 Air will be available for purchase from August 6 on Amazon India website for Rs. 7,999. In Nigeria, the TECNO Spark 6 Air will be priced around N40,000
