Tecno Mobile has launched its newest budget smartphone in the Spark series. The new Tecno Spark 6 succeeds the Spark 5 and offers key upgrades in almost every department.
The Spark 6 is built around a pretty big 6.8″ display with HD+ resolution and 20.5:9 aspect ratio. The punch-hole cut-out on the left-hand side of the display is home to an 8MP selfie camera.
The camera module around the back is of circular shape and features four cameras – a main 16MP lens, a 2MP macro lens, a 2MP depth lens and a 2MP AI lens.
Powering the budget phone is the MediaTek Helio G70 chipset. It is married to a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. You can get additional storage through the microSD slot available. Handling the software department is Google’s Android 10 operating system with Tecno’s HiOS 7.0 UI on top. The phone has the popular “Bluetooth Audio Share” feature which enables a device to connect up to 3 Bluetooth sources simultaneously.
The Tecno Spark 6 packs a sizable 5,000 mAh battery capacity. Although there is no mention of a fast charging technology support. Considering the price range this phone falls under, it is safe to assume such support is not available.
Speaking of pricing, the phone retails for PKR20,599/$125 in Pakistan. It is available for purchase in Orange, Black, Blue, and Purple colours. We expect the Spark 6 to make its way into other markets and regions within the coming months.
