Chinese phone maker Oppo has moved past the cancellation of MWC with the release of the Oppo Find X2 and X2 Pro. Few of their similar specs are 120Hz display, fast charging and Snapdragon 865 SoC with 5G modems. While the Oppo Find X2 Pro features an impressive camera setup.
The Oppo Find X2
The smartphone comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, QHD+ resolution, 120 refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling. There is also 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour space.
The Snapdragon 865 chip is paired with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0 Storage. The downside here is the no availability of microSD slot for additional storage. The Find X2 runs on ColorOS 7.1 skin with Android 10.
The triple camera module at the back of the phone features a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.7 lens. The second camera is a 12MP Sony IMX708 ultrawide angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture. Finally, the third camera is a 13MP telephoto camera with 5x hybrid zoom. The selfie camera is housed in a punch-hole in the display. It features a 32MP Sony IMX616 quad-Bayer sensor and f/2.4 aperture.
The Oppo phone comes with a 4,200 mAh battery capacity. And supports an impressive 65W Super VOOC 2.0 Flash Charge. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack. The device will be available in two body colour options; Black Ceramic and Ocean Glass.
The Oppo Find X2 Pro
There isn’t much difference between the base version and this Pro version. The Oppo Find X2 Pro retains the 48MP main sensor. While the ultrawide snapper features a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor. It is arguably one of the largest sensors behind an ultrawide snapper in the industry. The telephoto camera is still the same 13MP sensor. The selfie camera is also the same 32MP shooter.
The battery capacity gets slightly bigger, coming in at 4,260 mAh. The charging support is the 65W Super VOOC 2.0 Flash Charge technology.
The phone has IP68 water and dust resistance. While the Find X2 has an IP54 rating. The Oppo Find X2 Pro will be available in Vegan Leather Orange colour.
The device will start from $1200
