Twitter Blue: Twitter Launch Service That Allows Users To Enjoy Special Features For A Monthly Fee

Twitter Blue, a premium service that allows customers to access additional features on the website and apps, is now available. Users in the United States and New Zealand will pay US $2.99 / NZ$ 4.49 a month (approximately N1,230) for a variety of special features.

Articles that are ad-free are one of the innovative features. The Washington Post, L.A. Times, USA TODAY, The Atlantic, Reuters, The Daily Beast, Rolling Stone, BuzzFeed, Insider, and The Hollywood Reporter are among the media outlets that have teamed with Twitter.

A fast-loading, ad-free article page will appear when you click on a link from one of these services. When you click on one of these publications’ stories, a percentage of your Twitter Blue subscription goes to them.

Subscribers will also have access to the Top Articles feature, which will display the most popular stories in their network over the last 24 hours. Only Android and the desktop will have access to this service.

Not only that but there’s also an Undo Tweet option. Here’s how it works: After you post a tweet, you’ll see a timer that will allow you to cancel it if you’re not satisfied with it. The tweet is automatically sent when the timer expires. You may also manually submit it by pressing Send now.

A new Reader mode has also been implemented to facilitate reading long tweet threads faster. The Reader mode converts the tweet thread into a long page.

You can also modify your navigation bar. The navigation bar currently has fixed items such as Home, Explore, Notifications, and Messages. Anyone with Twitter Blue will be able to remove or customize these options, as well as add new ones, for a maximum of six. This feature is only available on Apple’s iOS platform.

Support for folders has also been added to the bookmarks feature. You can now sort your saved tweets by developing customized folders under Bookmarks.

Colourful themes and unique new app icons will be available for Twitter Blue users on iOS.

Finally, Twitter Blue members have access to new and testing features early. Other users may be able to use these features in the future, or they may be deleted. Twitter Blue users may now try out the new 10-minute video limit feature (desktop-only) and the new pinned conversation choices within DMs (iOS-only).

Overall, there are a lot of additional features available to paid users that aren’t available to free users. Unfortunately, Twitter will continue to display advertisements on the timelines of Twitter Blue subscribers, which is an unwise move.

Removing advertisements from Twitter Blue would have made the decision to upgrade to the service much easier for many users, though it’s likely that Twitter is holding off on doing so until a later date at a higher price., Twitter will continue to display advertisements on the timeline, which is an odd and unfortunate move.
