Facebook To Live Stream UEFA Champions League Matches

Facebook has secured a partnership with Fox Sports to live stream more than 12 matches from the UEFA Champions League. Soccer is the most followed sport on Facebook, which has over 2 billion monthly active users, hence the need to bring live matches to Facebook users.

The deal will see Facebook broadcasting double-headers during the group stage, four round-of-16 games and four quarterfinal games.

For all UEFA Champions Leagues fans, you can now watch live matches of the UEFA Champions Leagues live on Facebook. FOX Sports is all set to live stream UEFA Champions League matches in the United States on the FOX Sports Facebook Page, and in Spanish on the FOX Deportes Facebook Page starting from September.

This collaboration unlocks new distribution for FOX, giving the network a national platform for matches that won’t always be televised. And with different matches broadcast in English and Spanish on Facebook, our community of fans will have plenty of action to cheer on and chat about once the group stage kicks off in September.
