Design and Display
The Umidigi Bison comes in an all-new design for outdoors and sports. Despite being rugged, the phone is lightweight and thin with a 250g weight and 12.8mm thickness. It comes with an IP68 water-resistant rating up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes and is protected from sand, dirt and dust. The rugged phone has another rating – IP69K which allows the phone to withstand the thermal steam wash, the high water pressure of 100 bar and high water temperature of 80°C. It is without a doubt that the Umidigi Bison is durable enough to withstand any harsh environment.
On the left-hand side of the phone is a fingerprint reader for biometric security. Just underneath it is a Push-to-Talk button that is customizable. The right-hand side features the volume button, power button and an underwater camera button which is also customizable. Most of the phone’s body is Black but some sections feature either Cyber Yellow or Lava Orange.
The Umidigi Bison boasts a 6.3″ edge-to-edge display that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It features a 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
