Upcoming Oppo Find Z Flagship to rock Snapdragon 855 Chipset

As the Mobile World Conference (MWC) draws closer, smartphone companies have already started preparing for the launch of their flagship phones. While we are waiting for Oppo to launch its flagship smartphone, the company’s flagship smartphone has already been revealed online.

A document from the European Union Intellectual Property office which was filed by Oppo has revealed that the company’s upcoming smartphone will be named Oppo Find Z which will replace the popular Oppo Find X.

The device has been seen previously on Geekbench platform even when the specifications of the device has not been revealed by the company. In the Geekbench platform, the smartphone was codenamed “Poseidon” and the device specifications were also leaked by Geekbench listing.

With what we saw, it seems that the device will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset which will make the device to be the first commercial phone to have support for 5G connectivity. The company unveiled its 10x hybrid optical zoom technology recently for enhanced photography experience and we believe that Oppo might incorporate same feature in the new flagship.

Also, we believe that the company might use its newly improved in-display fingerprint sensor which now has support for two-finger authentications for safety purposes as well as for faster fingerprint recognition and authentication. But we are yet to confirm if Oppo will use that.

Another thing is that the device will be running on the latest Android 9 Pie OS out of the box with the company’s own Color OS  6 custom interface. The company have not revealed the battery capacity yet but sources have revealed that the battery will support the SuperVOOC fast charging.

The company will be launching the Oppo F11 Pro smartphone soon since it has already passed through certification in three countries. Also, the company will be launching its foldable device and a 5G compatible device during the Mobile World Conference in Barcelona this year. We also expect the company to launch other smart devices like; headphones, smart watches etc. as they prepare to enter the smart device market this year.
