It seems that Vivo is coming back harder in the market this year. Barely a few weeks after the company announced the Vivo V15, the company is back again in the news with the introduction of the iQOO Mobile phone brand with a futuristic teaser. The company’s official website is iqoo.com but the amazing thing is that the website displays information concerning Vivo but did not display any information concerning the company.
Most people including us does not know how to read “iQOO”. Maybe that was why the brand posted a question in Weibo that says “Do you know how to read your name” and within 3 hours, over 1300 people commented on the post.
For now, both the sub-brand and the parent company have not released any official statement about the device but one lucky follower will get the iQOO smartphone from Vivo tomorrow which means that we might see the device very soon.
The iQOO device might be a premium gaming device which is similar to what ZTE is trying to do with its Nubia Red magic devices. We also saw Realme spinoff from Oppo with a target to the opposite end of the spectrum.
It seems that splitting is trending now. We saw a few weeks ago how Redmi split from Xiaomi and went on its way with the Redmi note 7. As time goes on, we will know the aim of iQOO
