All is now set for the official launching of the Vivo V15 on February 20. Invitations have been sent to media for official coverage. If you can recall in the past, we wrote about rumours of Vivo India launching the Vivo V15 by the end of February. The information seems to be true. It appears that the company is set to launch the Vivo V15 series which includes the Vivo V15 and the Vivo V15 Pro phones in India on 20th February.
The Vivo NEX smartphone with a pop – up selfie camera and Snapdragon 845 was recently discontinued. The reason might be because the company is already going to launch Vivo V15 series which is cheaper and also feature same pop – up selfie camera. A quick look at the invitation sent to the media has revealed that the phone which will be unveiled on February 20 has a pop – up front camera.
With the addition of pop – up front camera included in the Vivo V15 series, it means that both variants (Vivo V15 and Vivo V15 Pro) smartphones will be coming with notch – less AMOLED screen. The older report had suggested that both phones will come with in-display fingerprint scanners.
According to rumours, the Vivo V15 Pro will arrive first with three rear cameras. It is also rumoured that it will come with a 32-megapixel lens as the primary sensor. The Vivo V15 is also expected to feature the same camera lens on its rear. However, there is no official report from Vivo to ascertain whether the device will come with a triple camera setup or dual camera setup. Vivo is also yet to authenticate the rumours that the device will be powered by Snapdragon 710 chipset. Also, there is no information on the other features of the device yet. Although We expect to hear more about the device before the February 20 launching.
A new report has claimed that the Chinese manufacturer may launch the Vivo V15 Pro as Vivo X25 in a march in China. The Vivo V15 may be sold for Rs. 25,000 ($350) while the Pro edition could be sold between Rs. 25,000 ($350) and Rs. 30,000($420).
