Wiko View 2 Plus Full Specs, Review and Price

Wiko View 2 Plus has been launched as the upgraded variant of the Wiko View 2 smartphone. The phone was introduced during the IFA 2018 event and it’s currently one of the best smartphones from the company.

As expected, the View 2 Plus comes with a notch and dual rear camera. It’s also powered by the Snapdragon 450 chipset, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space. Let’s find out more.

Design And Display

The View 2 Plus reflects light in the most beautiful way even though it was made from Plastic and has a metal frame. It sports a rear fingerprint scanner for quick access to the device.

At the top left corner, we can see the dual rear cameras in a vertical position, while the LED flash sits underneath. It measures 8.6 mm in thickness and weighs 166g overall. It will be available in Gold, Black and Purple gradient feel.

Turning to the front, you will be greeted by the notch in all its glory. Although, the bottom chin is very thick and quite identical to what we typically see on smartphones with 18:9 display. It sports a tall 5.93-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1528 pixels and 285 pixels per inch density for sharp visuals. The screen also stretches up to 78.16% screen-to-body ratio.

Hardware and Software

Under the hood, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 450 chipset with it’s newer 14nm process node. It has an 8-core processor with a clock speed of up to 1.4GHz offering smooth performance. There’s an Adreno 506 handling graphics.

For multitasking, you get a standard 4GB of RAM space available reaching a memory speed of up to 933MHz. While in the storage department, you also get 64GB storage space to store all your files, you can expand up to 256GB as well using a memory card. It runs on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo as well.

Camera, Network And Connectivity

At the rear, the device sports dual 12MP + 12MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, dual-LED, phase detection and other features. While the 8MP selfie camera on the notch has f/2.2 aperture and supports Face Unlock.

The View 2 Plus supports 4G LTE connectivity and accommodates dual Nano SIMs. It also has support for Bluetooth 4.2, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot and A-GPS, GLONASS.

The Wiko View 2 Plus is powered by a non-removable 4000mAh battery with fast charging technology. Wiko View 2 Plus will be available on shopping stores, starting from $299 to $349, that’s about (N100,000 – N120,000).
