The Xiaomi 14 Pro has been announced, and like the iPhone 15 Pro, there is a variant with a titanium frame. There is also another model with an aluminum frame, and it’s a bit more affordable. The phone comes with an IP68 water and dust resistance rating, and there is a model that supports e-SIMs. It weighs around 230 grams, making it quite heavy. There is a boxy camera bump at the back that houses three cameras and a flash at the back.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro has a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3000 nits. It is the brightest display on a smartphone, and the Xiaomi Longjing Glass protects it. The screen-to-body ratio is close to 90%, and the pixel density is 522. It is running on Android 14, and for the first time, we are seeing the new Hyper OS in action. The MIUI is no longer the interface for Xiaomi phones moving forward. Previous generation devices will also get updated to the new Hyper OS interface.
The Phone is powered by the all-new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a 4-nanometer chipset from Qualcomm. You can get up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage space. There are three 50MP cameras at the back and a 32MP selfie front. You can shoot 8K videos with the primary camera and 4K with the selfie camera. It has a stereo speaker with an under-display fingerprint scanner and a 4880mAh battery. It supports wireless charging at 50 watts and 120 watts fast charging. The phone charges from zero to a hundred in less than 20 minutes.

The Xiaomi 14 Pro is expected to have a starting price of $700 dollars and it is only available in China at the time of launch. It is expected to be available globally by the first quarter of 2024. The price might be different when it gets global.
