Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro debuts with Snapdragon 865 chip and 108MP Camera

The Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro arrives with four rear cameras, Snapdragon 865 chipset and wireless charging support. The Xiaomi duo smartphone becomes the company’s first Mi branded phone to feature the punch-hole display.

The Xiaomi Mi 10

This Xiaomi smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, curved edges, 90Hz refresh rate and 180 Hz touch sampling rate. The display has the ability to reach 120nit peak brightness, DC dimming and 4096 levels of brightness adjustment.

The four cameras at the back consist of a 108MP main sensor, 13MP ultrawide angle sensor, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro camera. The camera setup is capable of shooting 8K resolution videos.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 packs an impressive 4,780 mAh battery capacity with the support of 30W wired fast charging and 30W wireless fast charging. It also supports 10W reverse wireless charging.

The device will be launched in China tomorrow in Peach, Black and Green. The base model (8/128GB) will cost CNY3,999/$572/€526. Then you have the 8/256GB at CNY4,299/$615/€565 and the top memory variant (12/256GB) at CNY4,699/$673/€618.

The phone with the Mi 10 Pro was scheduled to be launched globally during the MWC 2020. But the conference has been cancelled due to the coronavirus epidemic. Xiaomi is yet to make a statement regarding that.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro

The Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro arrives with four rear cameras, Snapdragon 865 chipset and wireless charging support. The Xiaomi duo smartphone becomes the company's first Mi branded phone to feature the punch-hole display.

The Mi 10 Pro features the same 6.67-inch AMOLED display specs. The back camera department is where you’d see the major difference between both phones. Alongside the 108MP main camera, the Pro version features a 20MP ultrawide angle camera and two telephoto cameras. The first telephoto camera is an 8MP lens with 10x hybrid optical zoom while the second is a 12MP lens with 2x optical zoom for taking portrait shots.

Just like the Mi 10, there are three memory configurations here; 8/128GB, 8/256GB and 12/256GB. Battery capacity is reduced on the Mi 10 Pro – 4,500 mAh capacity. It compensates for the reduced capacity with a 50W wired fast charging, along with 30W wireless fast charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro will be available in White and Blue body colours. The starting prices are as follows; $715/€657 for 8/128GB, $787/€723 for 8/256GB and $860/€790 for 12/256GB.
