Xiaomi has finally released the highly anticipated Mi CC9 Pro. The device saw a lot of leaks and buzz leading up to this launch.
The highlight of the upper mid-range device is the camera setup. The Mi CC9 Pro comes with five cameras at the back. The fascinating one is the 108 MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor which was first introduced in the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha. There is two telephoto lens of 12 MP and 5 MP. The remaining two is a 20 MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP dedicated macro camera.
The camera module has a 7P lens but there is a premium edition with an 8P lens. This premium edition is the first smartphone with an 8P lens. According to DxOMark benchmark test, the Mi CC9 Pro has the best camera rating of 121 tied for first place with the Huawei Mate 30 Pro.
The display of the Mi CC9 Pro is high-end thanks to a 6.47-inch Super AMOLED panel. It features FHD+ resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display features the normal waterdrop notch which houses 32MP f/2.0 selfie camera.
Inside the smartphone is Snapdragon 730G SoC. This chipset features two Kryo 470 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and six Kryo 470 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. In charge of the graphics is the Adreno 618 GPU. No Android 10, the phone runs on Android 9 Pie with MIUI 11 custom skin. The device comes with Game Turbo 2.0 tech for better graphics performance when gaming.
Battery-wise, the Mi CC9 packs a gigantic 5,260 mAh battery and supports 30W Power Delivery fast charging. The charging system can get you up to 58% in 30 minutes and 100% in 65 minutes. The device is available in three body colours; Glacier White, Midnight Black, and Aurora Green colours.
Pre-order for the Mi CC9 Pro starts today with sales scheduled to begin on November 11 via Xiaomi official channels. There are two memory variants available for purchase; 6GB/128GB (CNY2,799/$400/€360) and 8GB/256GB (CNY3,099/$440/€400). The 8P lens Premium Edition with 8GB/256GB costs CNY3,499/$500/€450.
