After what seemed like an eternity, Xiaomi decided to announce a new Mi Note device and it is a good one. Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is also the same as the Mi CC9 Pro but for the global market.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 brings a lot to the table and is among the very first smartphone to sport a rear Penta-camera setup (five cameras at the back) as well as being the first to come with a 108MP sensor.
It also has a 6.47-inch Super AMOLED curved display with a notch, a Snapdragon 730G SoC with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage and whooping 5,260mAh battery with 30W fast battery charging.

Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Design And Display
This device has a 6.47-inch curved Super AMOLED display with a notch cutout at the top which houses the front-facing camera. Coming back to the display, it has an FHD+ resolution with a 398ppi, a 19:9 aspect ratio, max brightness of 600nits and supports HDR10 contents.
There is also a small chin down below. On top of the display is the Corning gorilla glass 5 which is also at the back of the device coupled with the aluminium frame to give it a sturdy and premium build.
At the back of the device lies the 5 cameras with an LED flash all at the top left side with the Xiaomi logo towards the bottom. Thanks to the massive battery on the inside, it weighs 208grams and measures 9.7mm in thickness.
There are three colours options to choose from; Aurora Green, Glacier White and Midnight Black, all of which look beautiful and shiny in its glass encasing.
The Camera Specs Review
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 has a total of six cameras; five at the back and one at the front. Starting off with the five cameras at the back, we have the main camera; a 108MP sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, PDAF, Laser AF and OIS.
The second camera is a 12MP telephoto sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, dual pixel PDAF, Laser AF and 2x optical zoom.
As for the third camera, it is also a telephoto camera using a 5MP sensor (Upscaled to 8MP) with an f/2.0 aperture PDAF, Laser AF and 5x optical zoom.
The fourth camera is a 20MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and Laser AF while the last camera on the list is a 2MP dedicated macro camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
The rear camera has a Quad-LED dual-tone flash for low light photos with HDR for good dynamic range. It can also shoot 2160p videos at 30fps, 1080p videos at 30/60/120/240fps and 720p videos at 960fps (Slo-mo).
Meanwhile, the 32MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture caps out at 1080p video recording at 30fps. The selfie camera also has HDR can be used for face unlock.
Hardware and Software
Inside the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is the new Snapdragon 730G from Qualcomm which is a chipset based on the 12nm node with an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz paired with an Adreno 618 GPU.
It has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which is the only RAM and storage configuration available for this device.
You’ll have to make do with the internal storage as there is no MicroSD slot for you to use to add additional storage.
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 runs the last Miui 11 but is still based on Android 9.0 Pie. Hopefully, it’ll get Android 10 very soon.
Battery and Connectivity
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 packs a massive 5,260mAh battery which supports 30W fast charging which can get you 58% in just 30mins and a full charge in just 65mins. It also supports USB power delivery. All these are done through the USB Type-C port at the bottom close to the speakers.
Other features of the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 include 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth, GPS, dual-band WiFi, WiFi hotspot, WiFi direct, FM radio, infrared port, NFC and of course, the 3.5mm jack.
