The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro is the latest budget tablet from Xiaomi and it comes with some interesting features and specs. It has an aluminum build at the back with aluminum frames. There is no sim card support as the tablet only relies on wireless connection.
It weighs around 500 grams and it’s quite large at 11 inches. There are four speakers around the tablet and they deliver a rich sound. It has a USB 3.2 charging port at the bottom that also doubles as the accessory connector.
The display is IPS LCD with 144Hz refresh rate, the resolution is 1800 but the max brightness outdoors is 500 nits which is quite disappointing. It is protected by the gorilla glass 3 and the bezels around the display are noticeably big. Outdoors you might struggle with the visibility of the display especially on sunny days.
The Xiaomi ad 6 Pro is running on Android 13 based on MIUI 14 and we see last year’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 powering the tablet. It is still an efficient chipset and we see Xiaomi pairing it with 8 or 12GB RAM and up to 512 GB storage space. The tablet can be a productivity machine because the chipset can handle any task you throw at it.
Tablets are not know to be camera centric but this one comes with two cameras at the back. A 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. There is a 20MP selfie camera up front and you can shoot 4K video with the rear and 1080p with the front facing camera.
The battery here is 8600mAh and the tablet supports 67 watts of fast wired charging.
