The Xiaomi Poco F1 Vs OnePlus 6 flagship show-off is about to begin. These devices have been trending on shopping stores for obvious reasons. They are both powered by the Snapdragon 845 flagship chipset but with mid-range prices that offer value for money.

They are both going for under $500 on shopping stores right now. I mean, why buy a flagship smartphone for a thousand dollars, when you can get one of these devices for half the price. However, which of these two smartphones is really the king of flagship budget? Let’s find out.

If you really like your smartphones in Plastic, then the F1 should be your device of choice. The first thing you’d notice on the Poco F1 is its Plastic body, compared to the OnePlus 6 which has a Metal frame with rear glass. The rear features are also quite identical and similar as well.

The Poco F1 comes in Graphite Black, Steel Blue, Rosso Red and Armored Edition with Kevlar. While the OnePlus 6 comes in Midnight Black, Mirror Black and Silk White colour options. The Poco F1 is bulky, measuring 8.8mm in thickness and weighing 182g, while the OnePlus 6 measures 7.7mm in thickness and weighs 177g.

In terms of photography, the Poco F1 sports a dual rear 12MP + 5MP cameras with dual LED Flash and a f/1.9 + f/2.4 aperture respectively. While the OnePlus 6 sports a 16MP + 20MP dual rear camera with dual-LED Flash and a f/1.7 + f/2.0 aperture as well. The Oneplus 6 will definitely deliver a better picture quality compared to the Poco F1.

For selfies, the F1 has a 20MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and IR face unlock. While the OnePlus 6 sports a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture as well as support for Face Unlock.

They both run on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system, the F1 has the latest MIUI 10, while the OnePlus 6 boasts of its Oxygen OS 5.1.8 on top.

From the specs comparison, it’s obvious there’s no major difference overall. Although the Poco F1 isn’t all that glamorous on the outside but it’s quite powerful on the inside with a massive battery capacity. It is no doubt the real Flagship killer.
