Xiaomi Qin 1S was introduced alongside the Qin 1 as a budget-friendly feature phone from Xiaomi. This new feature phone from Xiaomi is called Qin, pronounced like “chin” in English.

Design And Display
The Qin 1s looks exactly like the Qin 1 we reviewed earlier, there’s no much difference in terms of design. There’s no camera whatsoever in sight as well. It measures 8.5mm in thickness just like most feature phones.
IThere’s no audio jack as well, just speakers, no privacy when listening to radio or music here. Xiaomi didn’t bother adding some touches to the body, I mean, it’s a feature phone.
Turning to the front, it’s equipped with a small screen with the standard keyboard underneath. The 2.8-inch screen has 240 x 320 pixels in resolution and displays everything you’re typing.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, Xiaomi brought on a powerful Spreadtrum SC9820 chip with, dual-core processor clocking at 1.2GHz. It boasts of a bigger 256MB RAM and 512MB storage space to store more files. It still runs on Nucleus OS nonetheless.
Network And Connectivity
The Qin 1S accommodates dual Micro SIM. It has support for Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm jack, USB Type C port, GPS and Wi-Fi.
Battery, Price And Availability
The Xiaomi Qin 1S is powered by a removable Li-Ion 1480mAh battery. Xiaomi Qin 1 will be available on shopping stores, starting from $29 to $39, that’s about (N9,000 – N12,000).
