ZTE NUBIA RED MAGIC DESIGN

The most attractive gaming smartphone I’ve seen in a while, it’s Aluminium Alloy over unibody looks premium as ever. The narrow multi-coloured LED flash in the middle adds to the beauty of the device. Sporting four vents and self-cooling feature, so the device won’t get hot easily.

On top of the tall colourful LED flash, there’s the actual camera LED flash, the rear camera and fingerprint scanner. With the fingerprint scanner, no other person can access your games. It measures 9.5mm in thickness, and weighs 185g, mainly because of the battery. It was designed mainly in Red and Black colours.

ZTE NUBIA RED MAGIC DISPLAY

A massive 6-inch displays your games and movies beautifully here, with an edge to edge visuals. The bezels are super minimal as well, offering more screen than bezels for users. This FHD+ JDI IPS capacitive touchscreen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

That’s not all, there’s another NEG Dinores T2X-1 glass which provides overall durability and helps the Corning in protecting the screen. The screen boasts of 2160 x 1080 pixels in resolution and 402 pixels per inch density. Furthermore, it has Low-Temperature Poly Silicon, 85% NTSC, 1500:1 Contrast Ratio and stretches up to 78.70%.

HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE

Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 with 8-cores processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The Octa-core processor on this beast reaches a clock speed of 2.35GHz and was manufactured using a 10nm process technology, for a fast and smooth gaming experience. Processing graphics underneath is the Qualcomm Adreno 540 graphics processor.

There are actually two variants in terms of RAM and Storage space, the standard version comes with a massive 128GB storage and 8GB of RAM. While the cheaper variant has just 64GB storage space and 6GB of RAM. The storage space is not upgradeable though. The Red Magic runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Nubia Red Magic UI.

The Red Magic can be used as a personal camera, the 24MP rear shooter has f/1.7 aperture with Macro Mode, Sapphire Crystal Glass Lens Cover, Dual Pixel AF, PDAF, 6P Lens, records 4K Video. While the 8MP selfie camera has CMOS BSI Sensor, 3 element lens, Wide angle lens 76.9° and f/2.0 aperture.
