ZTE Nubia Z17 miniS is the mini version of the Z17S smartphone and an update to the Z17 mini. The miniS are for those who love compact devices, as it has just 5.2-inch Full HD display, smaller than the 5.7-inch on the Nubia Z17S.
The smartphone currently has one of the best selfie cameras in the Nubia lines of devices thanks to its 16MP + 5MP front-facing cameras. The is a very sleek smartphone, with the back covered completely with glass.
The fingerprint scanner is now situated on the front since the back is fully covered in glass. The miniS boasts a 71.0% screen-to-body ratio, which I really love. It comes in Black Gold and Deep Blue. The smartphone has an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16M colours and has a 5.2-inch 1080 x 1920 pixels display. The resolution also features 16:9 ratio display and 424 pixels per inch density equipped with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Under the hood, is the 1.95 GHz Cortex-A72, Qualcomm MSM8976 Pro Snapdragon 653 chipset and Adreno 510. This is aided with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage which enables you to run the most demanding of tasks. It comes with Android 7.1 and the Nubia UI 5.0 to optimize running performance and speed.
There are 4 cameras on this smartphone, Dual 13 MP shooter with phase detection, autofocus and Dual-LED. Most noteworthy is its selfie camera, Dual 16 MP + 5 MP front shooter, captures every little detail and beautifies your face as well.
The ZTE Nubia Z17 miniS is powered by a Non-removable Li-Po 3200 mAh battery, which is a 10% improvement from the original Z17 mini.
