The base model Redmi Note 12 has two cameras, a 48MP main camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. It also has an 8MP selfie camera housed in the notch. The display size is 6.67 inches just like we get on the pro models. It uses a Samsung AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution. The bezels around the display of the base model are more noticeable. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as compared to the under-display scanner on the pro models.
The Redmi Note 12 has a plastic build at the back and frames, and it weighs less than 200 grams making it lightweight. It also supports dual 5G sim cards and surprisingly it doesn’t have a memory expansion slot. The phone has a loudspeaker with a headphone port which is something we don’t often see nowadays.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ has a starting price of around $170. It will be released in Nigeria in the coming months and it is expected to be priced at around ₦119,000. The phone will be available all over the country upon release.
