Xiaomi has just announced its new Xiaomi 13 Pro and it comes with some exciting features. It is a proper flagship device and it is powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The 13 Pro by Xiaomi is the first phone to run on Android 13 and the new MIUI 14. There are some new features added to the software experience and Xiaomi claims it’s lighter on phones. It will be capable of running any demanding game without any glitches or lags. You can get up to 12GB RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro has a large 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1900 nits peak brightness. It is protected by the Gorilla Glass Victus with a resolution of 1440 x 3200. The display is slightly curved by the sides but it’s not aggressive. There is an optical under-display fingerprint scanner on the phone and it’s fast.
Xiaomi is giving us three improved 50MP lenses as we had on the Xiaomi 12 Pro last year. There is also a 32MP selfie camera up front and you can shoot up to 8K videos with the rare camera and 1080p with the front lens. The phone has a premium build with a silicone polymer back or a ceramic finish. It has an IP68 water and dust resistance rating and support for dual 5G sim cards. Xiaomi also worked with Leica to improve the camera on the Xiaomi 13 Pro.

The phone is expected to be available in Nigeria very soon. You will be able to buy it in online retail stores across the country. It will also be available in some select physical stores in Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt. The price of the phone is $737 and which is equal to ₦552,750 in Nigeria.
It has a 4820mAh battery and it supports 120Watts wired charging and 50Watts wireless charging. The phone takes less than 20 minutes to charge from zero to a hundred.
