How to Access Control Center on iPhone and iPad in the new iOS 12
Accessing the Control Center on your iPhone and iPad running iOS 12 is pretty easy. All you have to do is swipe down from the top right of your iPad and if you have an iPhone (iPhone X, Xs, Xs Max and Xr) swipe down from the right horn/right side of the notch. Doing this will bring out the Control Center as opposed to the swiping up on older iPhones and iPads. Once the Control Center shows up, you’ll be able to use the shortcuts as usual. You’ll be able to play and pause songs, turn on and turn off Bluetooth, WiFi, airplane mode etc.
You should also know that if you’re using an older iPhone or iPad model with an home button (which doubles as a Touch ID) then you’d have to swipe up like before to access the Control Center, regardless of if your iPhone or iPad is running iOS 12. So for the method above to be able to work for your device, you should be using a newer iPhone or iPad model.
