DESIGN
The tablet is quite stunning even though the back looks so plain, made from Plastic but polished to perfection. The only visible feature at the rear is the camera, that’s always ready for photography.
The Alcatel logo is also visible in the middle, completing the rear features. Turning over to the sides, it measures 9.15mm in thickness, which is surprisingly light for a tablet. Furthermore, it weighs 245g and available in only Black and Blue colours.
DISPLAY
Th Alcatel 1T 7 comes with bezels as expected but they’ve been reduced a little bit obviously. As we can see from the photo above, there’s a selfie camera on top of the bezel with a speaker grille as well.
The 7-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen is perfect for watching movies and playing games as well. Boasting of a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and just 170 pixels per inch density, the details on the screen should be clear enough obviously. Additionally, the screen stretches up to 65.75% screen to body ratio.
HARDWARE and SOFTWARE
Under the hood is the MediaTek MT8321 chip which is a 4-core processor with a 32-bit CPU architecture. The processor reaches a speed of 1.3GHz and has a 28nm process technology. Managing graphics is the ARM Mali-400 MP2 graphics processor with 2-Cores and clocks at 500MHz.
There’s just 1GB of RAM for multitasking through light apps, with a memory speed of 533MHz. For storage, 8GB of storage space is available and upgradeable up to 64GB. The Alcatel 1T 7 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo Go with a modified user interface.
CAMERA
At the rear, there’s a 5MP shooter for taking images and it can record HD videos of 720 pixels at 30 frames per second. While for selfies, a 2MP shooter is available for video calls as well.
BATTERY
The Alcatel 1T 7 is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 2580mAh battery with fast charging technology.
