The AllCall Mix 2 Might Probably be the cheapest Smartphone with Wireless Charging

AllCall Mix 2 was on display at the 2018 Mobile World Congress for the world to see. A bezel-less smartphone with an impressive rear camera that could compete with digital cameras.

The latest version of the bezel-less Mix series from AllCall and an update to the Mix smartphone. The device is truly a flagship device, boasting of 6GB of RAM, 64GB storage space and a massive battery capacity. Without further ado, meet the AllCall Mix 2

DESIGN

A beauty to behold no doubt made exquisitely from Aluminium Alloy and glows when in contact with light. Loving the simple symmetrical aesthetics going on at the back. The rear camera leads the pack on top, while the LED flash comes close before the fingerprint scanner.

When you are out and about with the AllCall Mix 2, the glass back shines and reflects light beautifully. It measures 7.9mm in thickness which is really impressive. Weighs 190g and available in Black and gold colours only.

DISPLAY

Bezel-less with no top-notch, AllCall wanted nothing to do with the trending top-notch display. However, there’s a bezel at the bottom corner that houses the selfie camera.

The 5.99-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen boasts of 1080 x 2160 pixels in resolution and 403 pixels per inch density. The screen has GFF full lamination, 2000:1 contrast ratio, 450 cd/m2 and stretches up to 77.78% screen to body ratio.

HARDWARE and SOFTWARE

Under the hood is the MediaTek Helio P23 MTK6763 chip with 64-bit CPU architecture and 8-cores of a processor. The octa-core processor clocks at 2.0GHz for fast performance and has a 16nm process technology. The ARM Mali-G71 MP2 is in charge of graphics and comes with 2-Cores.

For multitasking, there’s 6GB of RAM which reaches a memory speed of 1.6 GHz for fast multitasking. There are two versions, in terms of internal storage, there’s one with 128GB and a cheaper variant with 64GB storage. You can get the cheaper variant and upgrade up to 128GB. The AllCall Mix 2 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with modified UI.

CAMERA

The 16MP rear camera has f/2.0 aperture lens, 1.0um pixel size and captures 4K resolution. The camera comes with a LED flash underneath and other features to capture photographs with 4608 x 3456 pixels in dimension. The 5MP selfie camera has a 178-degree wide angle lens and supports face recognition.

BATTERY

The AllCall Mix 2 is powered by a Non-Removable Li-Po 3500mAh battery with fast charging and Qi wireless charging technology.

AllCall Mix 2 is available for $399 to $499, that’s about (N120,000 – N170,000).
