The Asus Zenfone 5z was also launched at the 2018 Mobile World Congress alongside the Zenfone 5. The phone is much more powerful than the Zenfone 5 in terms of specs and features.

DESIGN
There’s absolutely no difference with the design, it was made from Aluminium Alloy, which is quite attractive. The company really did their best just like they do with other devices. There’s a rear fingerprint scanner at the back for easy access, while the Asus logo is under it.
Sporting the trending dual vertical cameras at the top left corner. In a unique twist, the dual-LED flash is now under the dual shooters instead of being in between like the iPhone X. Turning to the sides, It measures 7.7mm slim and weighs just 159g. Furthermore, it’s available in just Blue and Silver colours as well.
DISPLAY
It sports the trending bezel-less display with top-notch which was all over the MWC. The Zenfone 5z looks exactly like the Zenfone 5 from the front as well. Impressively, the screen got 81.3% screen to body ratio which is super brilliant.
The 6.2-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is as sharp as it comes. Boasting of 1080 x 2246 pixels in resolution, 402 pixels per inch density and displaying breathtaking visuals. Protecting the screen is a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 which offers durability and scratch resistant.
HARDWARE and SOFTWARE
Houses the all new and powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset with Octa-core processor clocking at 2.8 GHz. It has a 64-bit CPU architecture and 10nm process technology for faster processing speed. While the Qualcomm Adreno 630 graphics processor handles graphics.
There are three versions in terms of RAM and internal storage, there’s a standard one with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. While other cheaper variants have 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The RAM space on all three reaches a memory speed of 1866MHz while all storage space is upgradeable up to 2TB. The Zenfone 5z runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with Zen UI 5.0 user interface.
CAMERA
At the back, there’s 12MP + 8MP dual rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and f/2.0 aperture respectively. Both cameras come with a dual-LED flash capturing 4K resolution images with ease. At the front, there’s a super sharp 20.2MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, 83° wide angle lens and face recognition technology.

The Asus Zenfone 5z is powered by a Non-Removable Li-Po 3300mAh battery with fast charging technology.
