Bixby 2.0 Launches with support for smart hom

Samsung has officially revealed some essential details about the next version of its Bixby virtual assistant, the Bixby 2.0. The South Korean tech company announced that the Bixby 2.0 will now be available on all connected technology devices like Samsung’s Smart TVs, mobile phones, refrigerators, and home speakers.

In a press release, the company says; “It will be more personal, with enhanced natural language capabilities for more natural commands and complex processing, so it can really get to know and understand not just who you are, but who other members of your family are, and tailor its response and actions appropriately”.

Apart from that, the Bixby 2.0 will be available to third-party developers as well. To top it all off, Samsung also launched a private beta program for the Bixby SDK, which will only be open to selected developers. Although, the SDK will be made open to all developers eventually.
