Vivo announces expansion into Kenya and 5 new other countries

Vivo was among the top 5 smartphone vendors in the world, according to Gartner’s latest market report, they are also an official sponsor of the next FIFA World Cup in Russia and the one after that. What a perfect time to capitalize on its expanding brand recognition by announcing its plans to spread to 6 new markets today. According to Vivo, their devices will be available in six new markets in the following months.

The company said they will appear “soon” in Taiwan, Singapore, and Hong Kong, to strengthen their Asian popularity. In Europe, it will make its official European debut by launching sales first in Russia. The company also declared they are interested in the African market, with sales in Morocco and Kenya to complete their six targeted countries.

The new countries will join the company’s previous strongholds in India, Philippines, Myanmar, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Cambodia.

According to Vivo, their goal is to offer devices that “inspire confidence and self-expression in young people”. Which means they will continue to make devices that focus on camera quality and audio experience.

One of their latest phones, the Vivo V7+, has a crisp 24MP front camera with a selfie flash for taking the best selfies. The front camera also features Moonlight Glow, Face Beauty 7.0 and Portrait Mode.
