As usual, the device features a plastic body with dual antenna lines at the top and bottom of the device, similar to the ones on Apple iPhone 6. As for the display, it sports a huge 6.19-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with 720 x 1500 pixels Screen Resolution (269ppi), and a 19:9 aspect ratio with a U-shaped that houses the front-facing camera and quite a huge chin down below.
Turning over to the back we are greeted with the usuals; a dual rear camera up top and fingerprint sensor at the centre. Overall, the device weighs 180 grams which is understandable given the hefty battery and measures 10.5mm thickness. Colours options available for this device Black, Gold and Blue.

For the rear-facing camera, a pair of Sony’s IMX 135 cameras was used, which are the 13MP main shooter and an 8MP secondary shooter with f/2.0 aperture, 80° Wide-Angle and an LED flash. For selfies, we have a single 5.0MP camera with f/2.2 doing the job. The camera also has 80° Wide-Angle. You can also record 1080p videos at 30fps with this device.
Doogee BL5500 Lite Hardware and Software
Doing the heavy lifting on the inside is a MediaTek MT6739WA which is based on the 28nm FinFET process technology with Quad-core processors clocking speeds of up to 1.3GHz. This is paired with an IMG 8XE IPPC GPU to make up the SoC. For multitasking, there is a 2GB RAM on board with 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded via the second SIM slot which doubles as the MicroSD card slot (Hybrid SIM) up to 64GB. Booting up is Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Doogee’s UI on top. There is also a fingerprint sensor at the back of the device which Unlocks the device in just 0.1 seconds.
Battery & Network Connectivity
The 5,500mAh battery capacity on this device is perhaps its major highlight as it can last 700hours on standby, 35Hours on call, 24hours for video playback and 28hours in web browsing. The only downside to this huge Battery capacity is the lack of fast charging. Asides from that, the battery is very okay. Other connectivities on this device include 4G LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, WiFi direct, WiFi hotspot, a Micro USB port with support for USB On The Go and OTA support.
