Doogee S90 is the company’s flagship rugged smartphone which has a lot to offer. Asides from being rugged, it is also packed with some pretty high end features. On top of all that, there are also some add-ons which can be purchased separately and added to the device to boost certain features. Want more battery life ? There is an additional 5,000mAh powerbank case. Want Night vision ? There is a night vision add on. There is also a powerful digital walkie talkie and a professional gamepad for games.

However, all these don’t come with the device and will have to be purchased separately. With that said, let’s see what the Doogee S90 has to offer.

Doogee S90 is rugged smartphone so beauty isn’t really it’s strong suit. However, the mixture of polycarbonate and metal used in making this device means it pretty durable and rugged like the name says. It also has a an IP rating of 68 and the highest military grade rating. The vertical placed rear camera is surrounded with two LED flash; one on each side and a fingerprint sensor just Underneath the cameras. Turning over to the front is big 5.99-inch 1080p IPS display with a notch up top to house the single front facing camera. Protecting the screen is a Corning Gorilla Glass.

Doogee S90 Camera Review

For the rear, we have a 16MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture equipped with a Dual-LED flash for low light photography. Features of the camera includes Panorama, HDR and AutoFocus. The rear camera is also capable of recording 4k videos at 30fps. For selfies, the Doogee S90 is equipped with a single 8MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash.

Inside the device is a Mediatek Helio P60 Chipset which has an octa-core processor clocking speeds of up to 2.0GHz paired with a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. This device has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which is expandable through the MicroSD slot, up to 256GB. Doogee S90 runs the latest version of the Android operating system which is Android 9.0 Pie, with Doogee’s UI on top.

Battery & Network Connectivity

Powering the device is a massive 5,050mAh battery capacity which can be expanded further through the case with an additional 5,000mAh in it. Fast charging is on board but given its huge battery capacity, it’s still gonna take a considerable amount of time to refill; about 3 to 4 hours from 0 to 100%. Other features of the smartphone includes 4G LTE, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, Face ID, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS. It also sports a USB Type-C for file transfer and charging.

  1. after the flop show of the Doogee S80, now they introduced Doogee S90 with too much accessories. I hope this time new customer of the doogee will get fault free devices. according to my experience i will be suggest you to check real rugged phone Poptel P60.
