It is now possible to send and receive money on Facebook Messenger with PayPal

PayPal just announced that they have expanded their collaboration with social networking site Facebook by adding their financial service for P2P payments in the Facebook Messenger application.

Facebook Messenger users can now send money to each other easily, using the integrated Paypal feature on the messenger app. The feature will mainly benefit those selling products or friends who want to help each other out.

To make use of this feature, update your Facebook Messenger App from the Appstore. You can send to anyone in both one-on-one chats and group chats, just tap on the blue plus icon, click on the green coloured Payments button, and then select PayPal to transfer funds.

The feature is currently only available in the US and limited to iOS for now, although the Android support will be available soon, according to Facebook.

Furthermore, PayPal also integrated a customer service bot for Messenger, which allows you to easily receive payment and customer service support directly in the messaging app.

If you are having any difficulties using the PayPal feature, all you have to do is just search for PayPal in the search field, click on the PayPal account and send a message and the bot will assist you immediately.
