We wrote earlier this month that Gionee is readying to launch a device with monstrous battery of 7000mAh. That is massive right? The device which is code-named Gionee M2017 has already received TENAA certification, a process that gives clue about upcoming smartphones specs in China.
According to weibo, the image of the device is quite similar to the on that are being circulated on the internet and it’s now official that Gionee M2017 will be unveiled in December 26 at a special event.
Specifications of Gionee M2017
The device has a unique design compare to other gionee devices we have seen from the Chinese mobile Phones maker. It has a 5.7-inch with QHD display, there is 12 MP + 13 MP dual rear camera setup, while the front camera will have an 8 MP snapper. The major shining light of this is the insane 7,000 mAh battery. This is massive and we do expect the device to ship with a kind of fast charging technology. The device weight is reported to be 230g. But considering the huge battery that is expected the M2017 is also quite thick – the dimensions are 155.2 × 77.6 × 10.65 mm. The device runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and has a fingerprint sensor on the front.
