Gionee P7 Specs and Price

Gionee has today introduced a budget smartphone codenamed Gionee P7 in India. No word yet from Gionee if the device will be launched in Nigeria. The phone is 4G enabled and supports VoLTE. The phone comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display, with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and soda lime protection. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It supports expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card.

As of the camera, there is an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies. The smartphone packs a 2300mAh battery which the company claims can last up to 259 hours of standby time.

The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based on company’s own Amigo 3.2 on top. Connectivity options on the phone include 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 , and GPS. While most phones in this price range comes with a fingerprint scanner, the Gionee P7 smartphone lacks a fingerprint sensor.

In October this year, Gionee had launched P7 Max at a price of Rs. 13,999. Just to compare, the specs of P7 Max include a 5.5-inch HD display, 2.2GHz octa-core MT6595 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It has 32GB of inbuilt storage, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, and is powered by a 3100mAh battery.
