Gionee have been promoting the Gionee P8M on their website, as the device is scheduled for release this month. The P8M is a mid-rand device, for those on a budget. It is a follow to the Gionee P8W released early this year. The device is a 5.0-inch smartphone that boots Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with Amigo UI in it.
The Gionee P8M has a metallic design and comes in Black and Gold. I love the metallic radiation and uni-body design of the back cover, it gives the smartphone a classy look. Also the rounded shape of the P8M lets you hold it more comfortably.
Most noteworthy is the Split Screen feature. With the Gionee P8M, it is possible to do two different things at the same time. Yes, you can keep chatting with your loved ones while streaming a video on YouTube.
Also, the 5.0-inch on the P8M has a High Definition display. The high resolution makes images on the P8M appear more vivid and real.
Gionee P8M houses a 1.3Ghz Quad-core MT6580 Processor and 1GB of RAM. You also have 8GB internal storage which is upgradeable to 128GB to store all your files.
It is equipped with Android 7.0 Nougat and complemented with Gionee’s Amigo 4.0. The interface on the P8M is such a beauty. Gionee P8M also have the Virus Detection feature, thanks to their cooperation with Intel. The VD feature protects the device against viruses. The P8M sports a 5MP rear camera with flash and a 2MP front camera for selfies.
This is the highlight of this smartphone. The Gionee P8M carries a massive 4000 mAh Li-Po battery that can last up to 2 days for heavy users. While normal users can get up to 5 days without charging it, thanks to its advanced power-saving technology.
